Multi-channel network Omnia Media is jumping into the original programming game with its new beauty, style, and lifestyle channel GlamBoothTV.
This new channel, which already boasts over 130,000 subscribers and 17 million video views, will air new shows every week, including DIY show Glamify, character transformation show Glambition, and GlamBuzz, an entertainment countdown show featuring the most buzz-worthy topics of the week.
Two of the hosts GlamBoothTV has tapped for GlamBuzz are popular YouTuber MissTiffanyMa and superstar Viner Landon Moss, who has been enjoying his time co-hosting the show so far: “My personal favorite moment has to be the behind the scenes moments when my co-host and I are improving jokes to use on GlamBuzz. We share the most laughter during those moments and our audience only gets to see a few of our bits.”
Other top creators Omnia has signed as part of their foray into women’s lifestyle vlogging include Rose Russo, fashion advisor Ricky Richards, JennisseMakeup, and family vloggers TheLaVigneLife. “We love being part of the lifestyle sector of Youtube because we find it much more intimate than other sectors,” says Dee of TheLaVigneLife. “We feel connected to other creators who make videos like ours as well. We are also so connected with our amazing subscribers!”
Omnia has also brought in new behind the scenes staff to lead this division. Carmen Wong, who was previously manager of talent acquisitions and development at StyleHaul, will be taking over as head of partnerships and strategy for GlamBoothTV. The former head of influencer relations and development at twtMob, Ray Kim, is the new director of entertainment marketing. The company is reaching “into Instagram, Twitter, Vine, Pinterest and Snapchat allowing [them] to develop opportunities for partners with brand deals focused on multiple platforms,” says Kim. Some of the new talent being brought on for Vine includes Dem White Boyz, Terrio, Ronnie Banks, Dan Rubin, Stassie Baby, Landon Moss, and Doroshina.
