There’s something adorably all-American about the legend of Sasquatch aka Bigfoot, allegedly sighted by quirky townsfolk and campers year after year, and giving rise an archive’s worth of cheesy movies. In his half-hour documentary “California On Sasquatch: A Not Finding Bigfoot Special,” comedian Kassem G travels through the wilds of California tracing the origins of the legend, a journey that includes believers and non-believers, parades and festivals, souvenir shops, oversized teeth, and more footprint casts than you can count (not to mention one cast of Sasquatch’s butthole). The result may not convince you of Bigfoot’s existence, but it will charm the heck out of you.
