Chris Across South America: YouTube Channel Aims To Parkour The World

Chris O’Neill, a shockheaded (truly badass hair!) man from Hong Kong, wants to parkour across the planet. Of course, he calls it freerunning, but parkour sounds sexier, so that’s what we’ll call it. The latest leg of his journey? South America.

Proving South America to be one of the most gorgeous continents, Chris runs through, flips through and jumps across every country it has to offer. He also does what looks to be insanely dangerous tightrope-style balancing on unforgiving railings high above nothing that resembles a safety net. I can’t imagine that he lives to make the entire journey if he keeps that stuff up … but then, what he does is nothing short of extremely skilled, so I’ll keep my fingers crossed for him.

Three years ago he posted a video of himself doing the same sort of thing across the U.S. of A. Since nobody counts Canada as anything but America’s Hat, he’s essentially knocked two entire continents off his list.

Parkour across Antarctica is going to suck, I’m calling it now.
