So if you have a website, this is probably going to affect you a bit …
Google is apparently changing the way their search algorithm works. Starting Tuesday, the top searches will be based on whether your website is mobile-friendly. As it turns out, mobile browsing passed laptop/PC searching back in 2013/2014 and Google wants to capitalize on that.
So if your website isn’t “mobile friendly,” you are going to slip in relevance as far as Google is concerned. How can you tell if you are mobile friendly? Fortunately, the internet giant has devised a tool to help!
Simply type in your website name and hit enter. It will then scan your site to let you know what works, what doesn’t and if you are “mobile compliant.” You can access the test here.
Or you can ignore the test, keep doing what you’re doing and slowly slip into internet obscurity. Say hi to Digg for us.
