So you love outer space and always wanted to be an astronaut, right? Well, you didn’t exactly reach the stars on your own, but people like Elon Musk and Richard Branson are set up to give you another chance through their private space initiatives. And better still, the Private Space project on Kickstarter is giving you access to private space.
Run by Tamir ElSahy, the Kickstarter is looking for a cool $10,000 initially to fund the bare bones elements of this 12-episode docuseries that investigates privatized space exploration. If they hit that before the deadline, the goal moves up to $15,000 and so on.
“Private Space will release monthly episodes covering the latest developments in the private space industry. We think our approach balances the need between informative, relevant, and easily digestible, qualities demanded with any successful online video content.”
So if you feel like pushing the boundaries of private space exploration, this is your documentary series and your perfect Kickstarter. You have until May 17 to donate, which is coming up fast. So don’t do that thing where you wait until the last minute to donate if you’re down for the cause!
