Taryn Southern is pretty much the perfect girl: she’s funny, charming, sassy, a knockout — oh, and now a TV star, digitally speaking. Letting slip via social media that she’s got a show coming out, The Taryn Show is just one of a slate of new digital entertainment from Maker, but because it stars Taryn, it’s already our favorite!
Billed as “the world’s first late-night interactive digital experiment in web culture,” The Taryn Show dares to ask (and answer!) questions such as: Who’s better at matchmaking, your friends or Tinder? What does a Facebook poke actually feel like? What if we could only communicate in 140 characters or less?
Featuring scripted content, interviews (with handsome web journalists perhaps?) and other zaniness, we don’t want to set the bar too high, but we’re already declaring The Taryn Show as the best invention in the history of the planet — and that includes the polio vaccine (sorry, FDR). Of course, I might be a little bit biased.
Expect the show to debut later this year. But don’t worry, you won’t forget — your friggin’ computer will doubtlessly friggin’ explode into a white hot ball of energy when it debuts.
