In Maryland two students took senior pranks to a new level this year by filling their school with an estimated 72,000 live lady bugs. The colorful beetles are supposed to be good luck, but they didn’t bring much fortune to the pranksters. The pair set off a silent alarm while entering the school at 3:30 am to release the bugs. The police arrived and things escalated. According to reports, it took janitors several hours to vacuum up the lady bugs which had been released into the school, but it will take the seven unnamed perpetrators a bit longer to clean up their personal mess. All the pranksters have been charged crimes ranger from disruption of school activities to burglary in the fourth degree.
