Presley Alexander is a nine-year-old, but already she’s an authority on YouTube. So that’s pretty cool. Even cooler is that YouTube is flying her out to be on a panel at VidCon about young YouTubers. Or as they’re calling it, YoungTubers. As the host of ActOutGames, the nine-year-old is the youngest standalone panelist to be confirmed for this year’s VidCon.
“It’s so crazy that they picked me out of all those people to be on a panel,” says Presley. “Every time I see myself on the same page as people who inspired me, like Alli Speed, Charles Trippy, and Rhett and Link, I have to pinch myself to make sure I’m not dreaming.”
How freakin’ cute is that? NMR is penciling in her panel as the one we HAVE to attend. According to the release: “As part of her homeschooling, Presley’s parents have always encouraged her to try things out to demonstrate to her that she can do anything she sets her mind to. Her love of YouTube led her parents to suggest that she to start her own channel. As with everything else in her life, Presley jumped in with both feet and started shooting a daily vlog that has now gone on for almost two years without missing a single day.”
ActOutGames has over 10,000 subscribers currently and after her VidCon performance, she’ll likely be coming home with a whole bunch more. VidCon is July 23-25 this year and since they don’t have the schedule for speakers up yet, you should probably count on being there the whole weekend.
