Real GTA Is Corridor Digital’s Best: Here’s Side By Side Comparisons From Actual Game

Corridor Digital are some of the absolute best filmmakers/illusionists on YouTube (and off it). The Corridor Digital team has been not only crafting innovative video content for years, but they’ve also been boggling our minds with their ability to blend reality and fiction in such a way that we can’t tell what is what.

Their latest video, Real GTA borrows from that René Magritte school of surrealism that presents us with an image and confuses our brain with what it isn’t. For example, they title their latest masterwork Real GTA — and it certainly appears to be footage from a GTA game — right down to the distortion of the real world colorations. But this isn’t real GTA footage, it’s live-action footage. And yet, my mind wants to believe otherwise.

Probably don’t watch this footage while tripping on acid. You might not make it out alive.

Here are some comparison shots we grabbed of a real GTA game and some grabs of Corridor Digitals GTA — see if you can tell the difference.

Special thanks to the crew at Let’s Play for use of their game footage.

And share this article because in some twisted way it might convince the Corridor Digital guys that we need much, much more of this.
