Prepare yourself, “Fallout 4” is upon us! Bethesda just put up a countdown timer that is going to end tomorrow at 9 a.m. EST, and it will hold some sort of announcement for the game.
A PR stunt like this has really made some heads turn to focus on Bethesda, especially with E3 just days away. Why announce something now, when you can announce it in video game’s biggest event of the year? The announcement might not be for the video game itself, but could lead up to some sort of teaser or maybe even an ARG. Who knows.
“Fallout 4”, a sequel to Bethesda’s 2008 post-apocalyptic RPG, is one of the most anticipated games of the decade, and that is an understatement. Fans have been trying for years to pick up the bread crumbs that could lead to some vital information about the game, and now for the past few weeks, everyone’s losing their sh*t with new information that’s been leaked.
Why is the timer a huge indicator of a Fallout 4 announcement? That screen the timer is sitting on is straight out of “Fallout 3”
Now, the only thing we can do is move on with our unworthy lives, and wait to see what replaces that timer in the morning.
