19 Kids & Counting was always a polarizing television show — either you embraced the wholesome family-love triumphing over sensationalism aspect or you were absolutely irritated that TLC would give a show to people who had an inability to stop breeding. With news just emerging that TLC has cancelled the controversial show in the wake of a child molestation scandal, unsurprisingly, the internet is sharply divided once again.
Some of Twitter’s early responders are happy to see the show finally get the axe, while others are lamenting its demise and want TLC to suffer for pulling the plug. Others are just shocked it took TLC this long to do it. We’ve found several of all reactions.
Which side of the social media fence are you on?
TLC has cancelled “19 Kids and Counting” because the name “18 Kids and 1 Child Molester and Counting” was not doing well in focus groups.

I thought that 19 Kids and Counting thing was done months ago. You mean we still haven’t sentenced Jim Bob to chemical castration? wtf.

TLC decides to cancel after attempts to rename the show to “19 kids and counting – some of which weren’t molested” failed to gain traction.
