Google Trends — The Top Songs of Summer 2015 List Is In!

Good news for all of you ear worm gamblers who got in early on Fetty Wap — him and his jam “Trap Queen” have been a huge part of this summer and its music. Yes, yes, we know it came out last year, but sometimes the sickest jams take a while to rise to the top.

Of course, there’s someone named Taylor Swift in the mix as well, but this year was dominated by hip hop.

Google, who not only connects us to our favorite music, also keeps track of what music we listen to (and a whole bunch of other stuff). Since summer is fading fast, if not completely faded for most of us, Google Trends has been able to compute what we’ve set our radio dials to the most, digitally speaking, making the hot days by the pool that much hotter.

For those of you who care about algorithms and tracking, here is what mattered to the users of Google from Memorial Day to Labor Day this year:
